After fifteen years of embroidery work serving European schools, brands, and ceremonial pieces, we kept seeing the same problem repeat itself. Schools wanted reliable, compliant, beautifully-made identity programmes. What existed in the EU market was either premium-only — excluding budget-conscious communities — or low-quality fast-fashion that didn’t last a term.
The middle ground was missing.
We built Blazondo to fill it.
Three tiers, one philosophy
Every Blazondo programme — from a single embroidered crest patch to a full custom EU-produced wardrobe — uses the same OEKO-TEX certified materials, the same compliance, the same care. The difference between Patches and Heritage is depth, not quality.
A patches programme costs a fraction of a Heritage programme. The dignity of the child wearing the crest is identical.
This isn’t a marketing line. It’s the entire reason we built Blazondo as three tiers instead of one premium offering.
What we bring
Fifteen years of embroidery craft. Production partners in Europe we’ve vetted personally. A modern school portal designed around how schools actually run — anonymised pupil IDs, no parent emails collected, clean admin dashboards. EPR registrations in Finland, France, and Germany. OEKO-TEX certification on every material.
We’re not newcomers. We’re an established Finnish atelier who saw a problem and decided to fix it.
Who Blazondo is for
European schools — from small primary schools serving local communities to international schools with traditional uniform requirements, from public schools moving away from formal uniform toward practical polo programmes to multi-academy trusts coordinating identity across many sites.
If your school cares about quality, compliance, and treating parent communities with respect — we’d like to hear from you.
